What the Time suite does

Time covers the working day from the roster to the attendance close. Punches come from biometric devices, an on-site gateway, or the mobile app, and each is held until it is safely received, so a lost connection never loses a punch. Leave runs from a ledger of balances, with approvals and a team calendar.

Shifts and rosters

Define shifts, including overnight ones, with paid and unpaid breaks, build work patterns and rosters, and handle shift swaps with approval.

Punches that are not lost

ZKTeco fingerprint and face devices push punches to the cloud, or through an on-site gateway for devices on a closed network, which holds punches until they are safely received. Health monitoring flags a device or gateway that goes quiet.

Attendance worked out from punches

Late arrivals, early departures, short hours, absences, and overtime are worked out for each day, with an exceptions worklist and corrections that go through approval.

Leave from a ledger

Balances come from a ledger with accrual, carry-over, and expiry rules, and each request shows its effect before it goes for approval.

  • Time and attendance

    Plan shifts and rosters, check in from the mobile app with a geofence and an offline queue, work out lateness, absence, and overtime, and close attendance through a date, with a period summary ready for payroll.

  • Biometric devices

    Available

    Connect ZKTeco fingerprint and face devices that send punches to the cloud, or through an on-site gateway for devices on a closed network, which holds punches until they are safely received. Health monitoring flags a device or gateway that goes quiet, and consent to fingerprint or face use is recorded.

  • Leave

    Available

    Set leave types and entitlement policies, keep balances in a ledger, handle requests and half days with approval, cancel leave that has not started, and see the team calendar.

  • Kiosk and web check-in

    Turn a shared tablet into a locked check-in kiosk using face, PIN, QR code, or badge, and allow web check-in only from set networks or locations.

  • Project timesheets

    Record hours against clients, projects, and tasks, mark them billable or not, and check them against attendance and leave before approval.

  • Advanced scheduling and labour forecasting

    Forecast demand per site and day, generate schedules from skills, availability, and budget, and compare planned with actual labour cost.
